With over 21 albums to his recording and production credit, Ankur has been producing music for almost two decades. A lifelong love of music and a quest for found sounds, tape recordings and vinyl have led to the formation of two record labels - Amarrass Records and Aural Grooves, creating the contemporary folk sound of Barmer Boys, recording legendary folk masters of Rajasthan such as Padma Shri Lakha Khan and the late Padma Shri Sakar Khan, and the release of hundreds of songs and music videos documenting hidden musics of the world.

From mixing FOH live sound to behind the scenes mastering, handmade production of limited edition lathe cut vinyl, cassettes and audio postcards, to documenting the creation and renditions of songs, Ankur brings a nuanced, trained ear and eye to every production.
